About this Policy
This Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") is intended to detail how Solidigm (located at 3101 N. First Street, San Jose, CA 95134) ("Solidigm" or "we", "us" or "us") as a data controller collects, processes and uses your personal information ("Personal Information").
In this Privacy Policy, personal information means all information that identifies, relates to, or reasonably relates to an identifiable natural person. This Privacy Policy applies to personal information that Solidigm collects, that you share with Solidigm, or that we collect through our websites, other applications, including mobile applications, and other digital interactions we may have with you (collectively, "Solidigm Services").
In accordance with the changes made by Solidigm to its website in October 2022, this Privacy Policy hereby updates the previous version of Solidigm's Privacy Policy.

Categories of information collected by Solidigm
Solidigm may collect personal information in the course of its business operations for the purpose of providing and supplying products and services, responding to requests and providing customer support, fulfilling legal and contractual obligations, and creating and structuring its products. You may also provide personal information to Solidigm, such as when you order a Solidigm product, contact customer support, or register for an event or publication. Solidigm also collects information when you interact with any Solidigm Services and our website. We may also collect personal information from third parties.
You voluntarily provide information to SOLIDIGM. When you subscribe to a Solidigm newsletter, create an account with Solidigm, make a purchase, or request information from Solidigm, Solidigm may ask you to provide information such as contact information, billing, shipping and communication information, and account name or credentials in order to fulfill your request.
From time to time, Solidigm may also conduct research, analytical, historical, and scientific research, either independently or in collaboration with partners. In doing so, Solidigm may invite individuals to participate and voluntarily share information with their consent. Where Solidigm obtains personal information from third parties for use in such research, we will take a number of procedures to verify that the relevant personal information is collected responsibly and lawfully.
If you submit any personal information about other people to us or our service providers, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the authority to provide such information and to allow us to use their personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Device and product/service business. If you download and use a given Solidigm service, such as software or application, Solidigm may track and collect usage data, such as when the software or application accesses the server, what information and files are downloaded using the software or application, and your interactions with the software or application during your use. Solidigm may collect this information in order to understand your interactions with the Solidigm Services and to provide you with the best customer experience. We may also use this information for security purposes. We may associate information collected from more than one device that uses other information we collect about you or your other devices.
In addition, the computing devices used by Solidigm may include embedded technologies such as processing chips that collect information about the operation of the device. This information may include:
- Type and version of operating system, hardware version, device settings, software type, battery and signal strength, screen resolution, device manufacturer and model, language, and internet browser type and version. The name and version of any Solidigm service on the computing device you are currently using may be collected.
- Geolocation, such as via GPS, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi signals.
- Connection information, such as your mobile operator or ISP name, browser type, language and time zone, mobile phone number, and IP address.
Access to such information by other applications controlled by the operating system or other software running on the device, and the transmission of such information from the device to Solidigm or other service providers.
In some cases, products or devices may incorporate Solidigm technology and personal information may be collected but not shared with Solidigm. The manufacturer of the product or device may collect this information, please refer to the privacy statement, privacy policy, or related terms posted by that manufacturer to understand how they collect and use your information.
The Solidigm Services may also collect geolocation information, such as location inferred from your IP address or GPS, and how you participate in and use the Solidigm Services; For example, when you choose to activate location services on the device on which you access the Services.
If the Solidigm Services use more sensitive personal information, Solidigm will respect the preferences you set in the respective menus and settings.
Third Party Source Information. Solidigm obtains information from partners, suppliers, suppliers, and other third parties. Our third parties are usually companies, and such companies may be located anywhere where we do business. Solidigm website and service information. Solidigm may collect, process and use three types of website personal information.
Information you provide to Solidigm: Solidigm, through its business partners and service providers, collects personal information that you provide directly to Solidigm or any of its affiliates. For example, Solidigm's business partners collect personal information when they interact with you when a customer seeks support; Solidigm's recruitment service providers collect personal information when you express interest in an open position; When you submit your request form, Solidigm's news service collects personal information. The types of personal information you provide to Solidigm may include your name, email address, mailing address and telephone number, or any other information you may provide.
Information Solidigm Collects Automatically: When you access or use the Site Services, Solidigm may automatically collect certain personal information from you, including:
- Log Data: Like most websites, Solidigm automatically collects specified personal information and stores it in log files ("Log Data"). Log Data may include Internet Protocol addresses, corresponding user names, browser types, device identifiers, geolocation data, identity of Internet service providers, referring/exit pages, operating system identification, date/time stamps, clickstream data, and other usage data. Solidigm may combine Log Data with other personal information it collects about you. During this process, Solidigm may use Log Data to monitor the use of Solidigm's websites and services for security purposes or technical administration.
- Device Information: Solidigm may collect personal information about the specific device you use to access or use the Site Services, including identifying your hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, or mobile network information.
- Location: To improve your experience on your website, Solidigm Services may also collect geolocation information, such as location inferred from your IP address or GPS selection in your language. You may adjust your device settings to choose whether to allow or deny the use or sharing of your device's location, but if you choose to opt out of such use or sharing, we may not be able to provide you with certain personalized Solidigm services and content.
Information collected by trackers: Solidigm may use data collection tools (referred to in this document as "cookies", including sessions or similar technologies). You can adjust your cookie selection by clicking "Cookie Settings" in the footer of the Solidigm website.
- Functionality: To enable users to interact with our services and web pages, third-party cookies are used to provide website functionality support. These include Amazon, pr.co, SmartRecruiters, and TructArc, which are invoked when users interact with services supported by such services.
- Necessary cookies: Solidigm uses first-party cookies that are necessary for the operation of the website.
- Analytics cookies: In order to improve and support website service functionality, Solidigm uses Adobe Analytics to collect website traffic information.
- Solidigm uses Google Analytics services in a limited geographic area. These web tools collect website traffic information, and the service provides Solidigm with the results of the analysis in aggregate form. Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information
Solidigm may collect and use personal information for general lawful, commercial, or marketing purposes, to provide the Site Services, and for other legitimate business purposes, including those related to business growth, maintenance, and administration. Such "Processing Purposes" include our internal operations and administration, communicating with you and fulfilling your requests for the Solidigm Services, advertising and marketing, monitoring and maintaining the functionality and security of the Solidigm Services, and improving, developing, enhancing and providing the Solidigm Services. Examples include:
- Communicate. Solidigm may use your personal information to send information; Open an account with Solidigm, process orders, respond to requests for information about our products, ship products and process payments; Respond to customer service requests; Provide alerts in the event of security updates, or changes to our policies or the imminent end of subscriptions; and to notify you of relevant products, services and events, to send marketing or informational materials such as newsletters or white papers, and to otherwise execute marketing activities. We may also occasionally conduct surveys or conduct focused research that may require you to voluntarily share personal information. We may use personal information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, including to comply with requests and legal process, including government sanctions screening, procurement regulations, privacy laws, government investigations, corporate oversight, and seeking legal counsel and other professional advice.

Who has access to personal information

Record keeping
